- Pamela Cruz the team leader of health benefits defines empathy as, “Empathy is one of the core values that the Health Benefits team is built on. Meet the Health Benefits Team

Pamela Cruz
Pamela leads the Health Benefits team with empathy as her guide. Her extensive background in health insurance plays a key role in assuring our patients are educated on the qualifications and benefits of enrolling in Badgercare. She is currently continuing her education in a Bachelor of Science, Health Services Coordination. Her passion for helping the underserved and underinsured has helped her excel and make lasting relationships with our patients and in our community. Pamela is bilingual in Spanish and of Puerto Rican descent. She hopes to one day open her own nonprofit organization to assist undocumented persons in our community. In her free time Pamela enjoys spending time with her son and spouse traveling, watching anime and rebuilding cars.

Yessica Villa
Yessica is one of our Health Benefits specialists who comes from the world of health insurance. She brings her radiant personality to our Health Benefits team and organization. Yessica is currently pursuing her associates degree in architecture. She is passionate about her work with the underserved and uninsured community due to having similar struggles when she came to the United States as a child. Her ability to empathize with the community we serve leaves our patients feeling seen and heard. Yessica is bilingual in Spanish and was born in Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, tasting different foods, traveling and making memories with her family.
